WORK under this prime CONTRACT includes, but is not specifically limited to, general, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical construction of wastewater treatment plant improvements and associated equipment, piping, valves, fittings, controls, painting, appurtenances, clearing, demolition, grading, erosion control, landscaping, fencing, testing, and other WORK as shown on the PLANS or specified in the SPECIFICATIONS. A detailed summary of the proposed work is as follows:
A new influent/return sludge pump station, mechanical barscreen with manual bypass barscreen, manual grit removal structure, new oxidation ditch, new secondary clarifier, renovation of the existing secondary clarifier, new dual cell tertiary filter, yard piping, electrical work including standby power generator, chlorination-dechlorination building, new operations/lab building, and site work.
Demolition of the following items: existing manhole No. 200048, existing influent pump station, existing grit chamber, existing influent box, existing distribution box, existing manhole No. 1, existing electrical hut and standby generator, existing control building, and existing filters.
